John Heywood

John Heywood

I am currently studying Level 6 Computing at Ayrshire College, progressing from Levels 4 and 5 while continuing to develop my computing skills.

I have experience in website development and digital media from my time at Thorne Travel, where I worked with tools and plugins such as Elementor, ACF, and Canva.

I am now focusing on building a career in cyber security, particularly in Blue Team operations and digital forensics. I am developing my skills through hands-on learning using virtual machines and platforms like TryHackMe, covering networking, system security, and threat detection fundamentals.

I will be progressing into HNC Cyber Security and plan to continue developing my skills towards a career in the industry.

Sunshine Farm Park, Multi‑Page Website (In Progress)

This is an in‑progress website project that demonstrates my ability to design and structure a full site with a focus on usability and clean layout design. I’ve completed the homepage and ticket page, and I’m currently developing additional pages and improving the site’s overall flow.
